Biography:
1968 to 1975 I was everything from a ladies wear manager at Woolco to a medical supplies salesman. My dad accused me of being a "job jumper."
1975 -1979 I was a welfare (AFDC) case worker for the Tennessee Dept. of Human Services. My job carried me into high crime all black projects everyday for 4 years. I saw every evil you can imagine. I would not take a million dollars for the memories and I would not do it again for ten million dollars.
1979-2000 I was transferred to Information Systems and trained to be an analyst. My first system was the Food Stamp Case Edit program. I retired from the Tennessee State government (General Services) in 2000 as an Information Systems Analyst 4. I was the lead analyst for a statewide building management program that included over 5,000 state owned buildings.
Little Known Facts:
I began collecting Third Reich artifacts in 1966. In 1985 I self-published a book "Fascinating Relics of the Third Reich" which sold 3,300 copies worldwide. I used a book company that bought publisher overruns to distribute the book for me.
I collect Whizzer motorbikes. I self-published a book "Whizzer
Sportsman - Star of the Lightweights" in 1999. I sell it on the Internet. Please
visit my Whizzer web page at:
www.whizzer-sportsman.com Although I am in my 60s, I still ride
vintage Triumph motorcycles with my wife. I own three of them. We like to ride
our 1972 Triumph Tiger 650 the best. It was made only days before we married.
Like me, it is an oldie but a goodie.
I have a serious interest in theoretical physics. I published an Internet article on gravity. See www.alternative-gravity.com Recently I was contacted by a team of scientists in Italy who want to test my theory of gravity.
I am a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. My great grandfather, Thomas L. Wheeler, served under the command of General Nathan Bedford Forrest in the Confederate cavalry. I named my first son after General Forrest. I have a Sons of Confederate Veterans Tennessee specialty plate on my car.
I met my best friend, Baxter McLean, at Lipscomb High School in 1959. We are still close friends.
